Finally got rid of the dreadful redness !!

Hi all !

It's been 6 months since from my last post ! I left the cold dreadful New zealand and came to the States.

I had angular Cheilitis as you know and after curing it with a skin doctor, We just couldn't get rid of the fricking redness of my mouth corners. oh it was aweful !!!

You could probably read it in my past posts. I really had a bad time and didn't have confidence to meet people with red corners of my lips. It ruined my social life.

Well after 6 months I finally cured it for once and for all !!! and having a great life ! My new doctor had prescribed these medications.

I am not sure if this would cure AC but it helped me get rid of the redness.

1. Truamcinolone Acetonide cream USP, 0.1%
2. A+D original Oinment.

I think the cream was to cure the wounds. and the Oinment was to protect it.
Using the cream for a week and applying A+D everynight and morning got rid of the redness. I still sometimes apply the A+D oinment for lip corner protection.

I think the vitamin D in the oinment helped a lot since I didn't get a lot of sunlight and lacked a lot of vitaminD.

My wife was surprised when the doctor had found that she was lacking a lot of vitamin D in her blood.

I started to think that maybe vitaminD has a lot to do with getting rid of the redness..but who knows..

Hope this helps the people who are suffering from the dreadful redness which is left after curing AC.
