You're right, I know its not exactly exercised-induced allergy as defined by conventional medicine but it is similar. I am not sure if the phenomenon is responsive to antihistamines.
It should since the histamine is causing the problem
I have been reading into quercetin and may try it and see if there is any change in the tongue and inflammation.
My calprotectin (fecal) was on the medium-high end and my doctor asked if i had crohns which I don't. It appears there is a low grade inflammation in my gut, but unlike crohns or u.colitis, it is not in the colon or ileum but most likely in the duodenum or in the small intestine's upper part due to the fungal infection.
Are there any side effects to quercetin? (even rare ones)
As quercetin breaks down it forms in to rutin, which just strengthen the blood vessels. The only issue that I have seen is that it can over dry the sinuses. This can lead to sinus infections.
