Re: Bank of America Going Down...

For the most part I only use this bank to write checks. And only deposit enough to cover the amounts I write. I received notice from them a couple weeks ago saying that they are requiring customers to antie-up on the minimum amount ($1500) to avoid a monthly maintenance fee.

I have heard before that BOA has been one of the worst in how they treat their employees and customers. My bank has been taken over by these guys. Every time I go in there I get pressured to do online banking and using an ATM card, which I really don't want anything to do with. So, I have been contemplating this for some time. I also have a credit union, which I would prefer to keep - just hope they also don't go down-under.

I do not have much in either one, but today I did pull out almost all my cash ($1000) from Bank of America and I'm thinking about buying up some junk silver coins with it. Those Walking Liberty Half dollars are a pretty coin, so I may purchase a few of these with the amount I withdrew.
