Re: pain in colon after enema

This sound similar to what I had happen. I did enemas for about 2 weeks then noticed a dull ache in my colon and had trouble passing stools. I read some websites about enemas which said that people with some kinds of bowel conditions should not do enemas - it gave a list. Tha's been about a year ago and I'm still have soreness and difficulty passing stools or even feeling the urge to go to the bathroom sometimes. It might help before you do more enemas to consult a gastroenterologist and have an exam for these conditions. Tweet
