Could this simply be a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system with sympathetic overtone?
I think you stated in your article on crash recovery that the body goes into emergency mode and that in an attempt to re-balance itself, many of the organs systems go a little "haywire" as they try to establish homeostasis - could this be what's happening?
If I am doing the adrenal breathing exercises, eating properly and resting as much as possible, should this pattern eventually stabilize?
