Im a looking to do my own research into the link between the mirena coil and auto immune disorder.I was a fit and healthy nurse before having the mirena coil, within three months off having the device in side me i had immense joint pain and swelling, over the course of a year it got worse and my bloods indicated i had Rheumatoid Arthritis . im probably about 15months now since i had the device in me and my joints are 90% better but only because i rely on drugs,i have to inject methyltrexate to stay well every week.The RA will stay with me for the rest of my life and im only 32,so please help me and come forward if u have a diagnosis of auto immune disorder that started around the time of having the mirena coil,manythanks.If u dont have a confirmed diagnosis but are suffering from terrible joint pain and swollen joints that are being investigated i would very much like to hear from you also x Tweet
