Sounds like he maybe suffering from severe case of candida and toxic effects of the alchohol from the fungus, You need to treat yourself with some strong anti fungals like Diflucan and amophotercin B , go and see a dr and get a prescription for some systemic drugs you will notice a difference within days.

I know the feeling of feeling like you are going to die from candida but if you eat well & take the medicine for a few weeks.
