Hi nothingbutwater, the results weren't overestimated for me, rather i dropped a significant amount of fat weight just by incorporating a tablespoon or two on a daily basis. i noticed the difference within 6 weeks. coconut oil is also anti-fungal & anti-bacterial on the short list. it's a saturated fat, but it works much differently in the human body than other fats, whether it supports ketosis or not. that i cannot comment on.
coconut oil contains short & medium chain fatty acids as well as lauric acid. definitely a superfood and of course for many it tastes delightful too. Fat is not bad, it's needed to support a healthy body; particularly hormonal systems and especially for women. it's all about BALANCE. if you haven't tried coconut oil for yourself, you cannot comment on its benefits for yourself. experience is knowing. check it out. thank you for allowing me to share my insight on this subject.
