I don't know if Illuminati exist today or not, but being "banned" surely wouldn't make them dissapear.

Because how do you "prohibit" a secret society?

If they are meeting in secret, how do you know thay're not meeting any more?

And if it was a society of powerful people, with common interests, who want to do something together, be it good or bad, surely they will pursue those interests, espec. if the 'society' was already a secret one...

Therefore, thinking that they ceised to exist because they were "banned" cannot be other than wishful thinking. Tweet
