Safety of liposomal encapsulated supplements, homemade & commercial

Hi,

I'd like to try liposomal C and glutathione to help with adrenal & liver issues, and would especially like to make my own with the home recipe that's been making its way around the web since 8/09, but an issue I don't see addressed anywhere is safety as regards potential impurities or side effects of slipping supplements past the body's usual barriers & filters.

Could anyone comment? If the supplement is impure, how do we know we aren't introducing those impurities directly into our cells? Do people find it important to use especially pure sources of baking soda, vitamin C & glutathione for home brew; to sterilize the ultrasonic cleaner, etc. before whipping up a batch?

I'm cross-posting this question after not receiving a response to on ask Dr. Lam or the colloidal silver list.
