What keeps me motivated for life is having spent 2 years on and off in the hospital after severely fracturing one of my legs in a motor vehicle accident. I experienced what it (((feels))) like to resign oneself to the apathy of ending their life in a hospital. When I did have a roommate, which was rare because of the bone healing (risk of infection), they were elderly people and had given up hope. It was very sad. What was even more horrific was the drugs and food that were fed to ill people that in no way shape or form would support their healing process. General knowledge & understanding of nutrition as relates to overall health & healing in the event of illness is very much lacking in the western health care industry as many are well aware.
I will never forget the experience and I made a pact with my body & myself to take the best care of my health. Fasting is just one component, my intentions also include staying well emotionally, mentally & spiritually. There is no reason why one cannot live a fully productive, healthy, thriving life no matter the condition. Aging, getting sick and dying in a diseased state of mind is not the norm although we believe it collectively. Anyone and anything can be healed. Bypassing massively adverse programming on the subject is not the easiest thing to accomplish, but it can be done. Sincerely, I have learned my health is in my own hands. And it's exciting to continue to heal. I hope more people find their way.
