60 day water fast
I am going to begin a 60 day Water Fast
on august 18th, 2010. I am grossly over weight and want to get skinny fast. I have water fasted before for 6 days and gave up on the 7th day and i lost 34 pounds
which most of which was built up bowel waste and pure fat. I know 60 days seems like alot and it is. My weight right now is 320, if it gets to 150 or below i will break the fast. I plan to break the fast with steamed veggies for 1 month. I understand that Water Fasting
slows the metabolism so when you start eating again it doesent take as much food to keep you alive. For me it is easier to completly give up food all together than to moderate. I also understand that i must learn moderation for the rest of my life and do not plan to Water Fast
as a lifestyle i just want to use it to springboard into a new life, a healthier life. I'm 25 years old and am sick and tired of not feeling 25 i feel like i'm 50 which is very depressing to feel 50, i know 50 year olds who don't feel 50. I know what it feels like to be skinny, i was on the track team in high school and was truly an athlete. I used to be in great shape and something happend very gradually where i just stopped caring and woke up one morning and realized that i had a serious problem and need to do something about my eating habits and overall activity level. Of course you realize that your getting fat you just don't want to look in the mirror and face yourself sometimes and it goes on and on. I'll be happy to read all of your comments.
