miracles do happen
This is about my mother; she has been ill for a number of years; a Lupus like condition that implies an intolerance of sunshine, artrithis and kidney cysts + severe
kidney stone attacks. She was at one point only 45 kilos (her normal weight was about 65 kilos) and we thought we would loose here at her lowest point 3-4 years ago.
I introduced her to
Iodine two years ago; but she was far from open to do this, as in her books
Iodine was called a poison. She also avoided salt as this was a poison too; in her books.
What she believed in was herbs, vitamins and kidney, liver and
parasite cleanses.
I finally made her believe in taking some salt (himalaya), which made here condition somewhat better. Last spring I made her start the
Iodine protocol, but she found it to harsh on her kidneys so she faded out, reduced the dosage to a minimum. I thought her case was lost, but without me knowing it she has been plodding along, taking a few drops of iodine in addition to kelp + salted her food and water. One of the reasons is simply that she has seen the positive changes that have happened to other "iodiners" like her grandsons, me, etc.
A few months ago her weight started to come up to normal; she put on 15 well-placed kilos,
kidney stones attacks are down to a minimum.
The miracle however is that for the first time in 15-20 years she can tolerate the sun again.
(For a couple of decades the sun made her break out in a terrible rash, itching, swellings, exuding lumps, isolating her inside the house whenever the weather was good.)
This summer she has a nice tan, no reaction whatsoever.
I also saw a twinkle in her eyes that I not have seen in all these years.
What I have learned besides that iodine works in most conditions is that in some cases I can advice a slow path instead of my own rather fast pace.
ps I asked her of course; what she thought had made the difference, she answered; only difference I have done is the salt and iodine.
