Well said Chris, I am a meat eater, I am predisposed to anaemia, and do not do well on a fully vegetarian diet, in fact the times where I have chosen a fully vegetarian diet, (for one reason or another), I have become very anaemic, this happened even when supplementing and watching my diet very closely to make sure I got everything I needed in the way of vitamins and proteins.
Diet is a very individual thing, I know others that thrive on a vegan diet, and those that fail to thrive on the same diet, often becoming wasted and sick. I prefer balance these days, and eating mostly what I can grow myself.
