Podiatrist for a 4-year old boy

Please recommend a podiatrist for a 4-year old boy in Orange County, CA. Or guidelines on how to select a good podiatrist. My son has flat foot and a doctor we saw today recommended him to see a podiatrist.

How will a podiatrist help him? I would appreciate any comments that you have on this. My son falls a lot and my wife and I recently put him in a gymnastics class to improve his balance. He's a little better but the flat foot is not going away.

I would appreciate your comments. I am hoping that the flat foot will go away, but I don't think it will go away by itself.
