MM, if you look a little deeper into the story of Copernicus, you will find it was the pope and the clergy who didn't like his ideas, not scientists. This is the perfect example of what I was saying in a previous post, about the evidence being skewed to suit an agenda.

The correct story is a good reminder to everyone to not get taken in by others with an agenda, and not to put aside your own ideas, just because they disagree with the people around you.
