Sleep verses blood thickness


My story is this I had a serious problem in that I only could sleep 3 to 5 hours at a time generally 4. I developed blood clots in my legs and lungs last fall and was intially placed on high doses of blood thinners (Warfarin). Ironically I started to sleep better/longer about 6 hours which for me is about as good as it gets. Once they thought my blood clot risk was better my doctor reduced my Warfarin amount and my sleep went back to 4 hours again. I have since started self medicating taking large doses of vitamin E, and boosting the amount of Warfarin that I take, but it seems the only way to sleep at night. I fully realize this is dangerous. In Chinese Medicine/Accupuncture they have what they call Liver Qi Stagnation which describes my sleep problem exactly sleeping 4 hours and waking really warm, and unable to go back to sleep. I have had tried Accupuncture to no avail.
My question is this what do I do to be able to sleep, and not have blood so thin that if I cut my self I will possibly bleed to death. I have had people on here recommend Liver Flushes am a little afraid of that. If someone has one that they have used (brand name) and liked I would be interested. I am a little afraid of stuff going in my liver that I am not totally familar with.
The other thing is I am hoping there is some one out there who has had the sleep problems I have had. I am hoping I am not the only one who has had this problem.
