MSM side effect

I started taking MSM powder because I have hypoglycemia. I heard that msm is very beneficial for people with diabetes as it causes cells to become more permeable and is necessary for the production of insulin. After taking msm for the last months i've become very tired, I wake up bags under my eyes and it remains that way for the remainder of the day. I believe that with an excess of insulin, theres just not enough glucose to go around and my brain becomes more energy starved than usual. I can't concentrate at all and my short term memory is shot. Does this sound possible???

My problem isn't about the amount of insulin i guess, its more about getting more glucose out of the food that i eat. I think i'm deficient in most of the B vitamins which are responsible for turning food into glucose.
