Is MSM Safe in Plastic Containers?

Hello,
I hope someone can answer this question for me.

I would like to make MSM eye drops and I have been looking at places to purchase the powder. It seems that the powder is in Plastic Containers and I am wondering if this is safe? I have heard numerous times how it is not safe for DMSO to be in plastic containers and must be purchased in glass. Does anyone know whether it'll be safe for me to buy the MSM powder in the plastic containers?
