Mighty is right: the bowels normally shutdown on a water only fast and where clear urine is a sign of excess water. This will inhibit elimination and overburden the kidneys, so not a good idea.

The need for water on a water only fast is in fact minimal and less so while eating, as some of the water needs of the body are met in this way (depending on your diet).

Anything other than water according to genuine thirst, will interfere with the conduct of the fast and the eventual outcome.
