Surgery causing heavy metal toxicity = cause of my problems?

A few years ago I got a surgery for a concave chest, basically my chest collapsed inward and I wanted to get it fixed so they placed a metal bar in my chest to push it outwards. What I had was called pectus excavatum.

Now that I think back to it, it seems that all my symptoms had come since I got that surgery. I think it may link back to the fact that it gave me heavy metal poisioning? Now I feel like Im stuck with candida and leaky gut because of this. Is this possible?

Thanks.
