I asked Newport about that before for myself, for running the dwarf Tapeworm longer (blow it to bits), and because it "Loves Lead and lives off of bile", he made a good point that running it longer with the Lead wouldn't be a good idea.

Try dowsing again, and starting from 0, and in minutes, counting up- ask how long you should run it.
