The effect of eating once on a fast...

Hey I have a Question,

Today I woke up on day 5 of my Water Fast and had an intense detox reaction. Nausea (when I think of food I want to vomit) and very weak, but a very strong pulse ... like i'm exercising. Not sure what that means. I would be happy to have stayed in bed all day and heal, but I absolutely had to attend uni today. I had absolutely NO energy to get the train there so I decided the only way I could make the class is if I ate something. So, I ate an apple, and after 15mins I had plently of energy to catch the train and pay attention in class. I don't want to get out of my fast just yet, I went through 3 days of being very uncomfortable (I had a fast food addiction, ate it everyday) and was looking forward to detox. So, does anyone know if the energy of the apple could be burnt off today, enough so that tomorrow I'll get back to where I was?
