Re: After America , There is No Place to Go

When I came to this country I was very happy that I could choose any doctor I wanted and get an appointment. Where I came from I could only go to the doctor (who was not good)that was appointed for our neighborhood and where I only could go between 8-9 am and sit in a waitingroom with another 20 people.

I don't know what is going to happen here since now I am on medicare, which was so far ok, but I am part time in FL and the doctor of my choice is not accepting medicare patients though since my husband does not have medicare he was accepted.

My doctor in MA told me a couple of years ago that MA already has a shortage of 500 doctors and that is going to get worse since most students are going to be specialists and not general practioners.

From day one when I came here I realised it was important to be a saver, I could not believe that people bought everything on credit. This is not an easy country when you are poor and all the advertisements push people to buy things on credit.

May be not everything is perfect here, but every country has so their own problems.
