Re: Getting off antidepressants-withdrawl/restore support
I am scared I am not gonna make it and have to go back. I am very determined and can take quite a bit, but the anxiety is wearing on me. I am hoping that this is normal what I am going through. Part of the withdrawal and restoring.
Current Main Concerns: Insomnia, Anxiety, Irritability, Haziness (not very clear in the mind), zoning out, occasional weepy feelings. I have cut back some on the Tyrosine and 5HTP which may be too soon
I have TMG, magnesium chloride, GABA and L-Carnitine on order. I am really hoping the GABA, magnesium chloride helps with the anxiety and insomnia.
I also read up on a product called cellfood, which I thought I would try.
I am doing the
Oxypowder cleanse to help in detox.
See my history of what lead me to where I am in taking these medications. Pretty much stress induced.
Below is my current protocol. Please feel free to comment. Please let me know if in your opinion, if these supplements I am taking and when and how, are in line with your thoughts.
MORNING
Tyrosine 500 mg (Cut back to once a day in morning thinking it may be attributing to anxiety with the norepinepherine and epinepherine and also wondering if it might be causing some of the insomnia)
B6 (200mg) for activating the aminos
B Complex (100 mg)Co-worker for aminos
EPA/DHA (1000mg EPA, 270 DHA)
Amino Complex (Whole Food Brand)
Nettle (300 mg)
Nettle Tea (2000mg)
Green Vibrance
Bee Pollen
Alma C
All Round Food Based Nutritional Supplement
Fiber Supplement (Also has some herbs)
Ate a protein bar.
5HTP - Left off for I was going to start taking at night for it seems to be more of a relaxant, thought would help me to sleep. I do notice a calming affect when I take this.
LUNCH
Anxiety pretty bad...
Inositol (B8) - Has a calming affect but may be making me hazy? Took 2 1/4 teaspoon twice in an hour for the anxiety
Glutamine - Thought maybe would have a calming affect. But have not noticed one way or other. I am not sure if I should take a bedtime or during the day or at all?
5HTP (50mg) Was going to take at night but took earlier for anxiety. Felt better

Bowel Cleanse on empty stomach - Doing this to cleanse everything out.
Could not sleep, got up around 3am and took theanine and glutamine. Slept for about 2 hours.
