weird after effects of surgery

I had surgery three days ago and had my gall bladder removed. At this point I'm curious about a few things I'm experiencing and wondering if anyone else has had them too.
* I'm getting a lot of ear wax. Weird, right? What's the deal?
* I'm getting some bloody mucus from my nose. Sorry for the TMI, but I'm a little concerned just cause I don't understand it. My nose isn't running. I wouldn't say it's bleeding. But I feel like it's a little stuffy, and when I blow it, I get this snot with dark bits of blood in it. Why would I have this when my surgery had nothing to do with my nose?
* Referred pain. What is up with it? I had it before the surgery--my pain manifested to the left and south of my gallbladder. Now, after the surgery, the most painful area I have is like a bad stitch in my right side (so nowhere near the previous area), not where the incisions are.
I've no doubt I needed the surgery. I saw an ultrasound before going in that showed lots of stones, one of which was huge. I was in a lot of pain. I'm glad I got the surgery. I just wish I understood all these little oddities.
Thanks.
