Re: Can I chime in??

Ginagirl,

This is a really interesting subject. The difference of working with meds where the aspiration is to take less, or none, over time. Versus the community that 'assumes' meds are going to be part of the cure for ever and ever and ever.

It seems generally, people I talk with either themselves want the quick one-stop medical shopping solution, and/or the Docs are more than happy to accommodate. Either way, fix me fast. Instead of the mentality that "time" should be an ally, instead of an inconvenience.

I am always interested to hear what you are trying to accomplish in your environment because I can only imagine how hard it is to try and get to 'normal' through abnormal things. Here, we live in both worlds. Needing immunosupressant meds to survive, but aspiring to make things as normal as possible. We can say it is possible to get off meds tho. Having the spirit to consider time as a friend and not an inconvenience has a lot to do with it.
