Holistic after chemo

Hi, was hoping to get some feedback from some experienced healers on this. I know a fellow who has been taking oral chemo for some months now for a form of adult leukemia, no holistic as of yet but he has expressed interest in exploring holistic modalities. My experience has been that if you take "virgin" cancer patient (no previous nukes or chemo) and they undergo a comprehensive holistic program, lets just say thier chances for recovery should be quite good. My question is, generally speaking, how much chemo (oral in this case) can a human being take before they reach a point of no return, holistic program or otherwise?
