Water01 - Thank you for that great post AND for this opportunity to set the record straight about one of Nature's/God's GREATEST healing plants!  Uny you are most welcome.  I 'knew' or 'hoped' you would take the opportunity to set the record straight.  I THANK YOU for sharing all your knowledge and research done on this very important subject. 

Now then, it is any wonder, that after almost a century of this level of "spin & lies" being imbedded into the minds of society and physicians (AND alternative & natural healers), that we're all scared to death to eat plants to heal ourself?   

It is tragic the amount of damage the FDA and FTC cause with their power of 'spinning' & 'lying' in an attempt to scare and stop the marketing of comfrey and other natural substances.  All the while they continue to allow 'proven' dangerous drugs to be marketed and freely distributed to 'trusting' and 'believing' consumers.  It has been almost a decade since the great comfrey 'spin' was created and the damage continues.  How many people were scared away from comfrey and nature's plants?  Instead turning to an FDA APPROVED drug... Fearful of eating plants and natural plant-based substances to heal and find health.  Shame on the FDA and other agencies (AMA) that are suppose to protect.  How many would be healthier and free of drugs if they could have 'trusted' and had access to comfrey? 

Let me say this... I have used comfrey 'internally' and 'topically' for DECADES with only healing and improved health.  I have healed broken bones, torn ligaments & muscles and OPEN WOUNDS.  When I had to have a cast for a broken bone, I insisted the doctor apply a thick layer of comfrey ointment before casting.  That bone healed with record speed.  I have used tinctures containing comfrey with only health benefits.  I can not imagine not having comfrey in my life.  I have had others 'tell' me that I should not be using comfrey.. it was dangerous.  They did not have an interest in studying or learning the truth.. The FDA's word was 'good enough' for them.. I call it criminal.   

But it is VERY important to know the the pharmaceutical industry-owned AMA  (whose foundational mission is "to protect the legal & financial interest of it's members") and all it's greedy tentacles, have spent BILLIONS of dollars since the late 1890's,,,,hiring the TOP psychologists and advertising PR experts to propagandize & brainwash society and destroy the competition.  And you just saw one little blurb that's part of the process.  All of us (and all of those we ever try to help) are victims of this 'fear & quackery' campaign...and how deceitful, impactful, and health-destroying their incredible levels of "spin" really are. Yes, comfrey is only one little blurb in this process.  Sadly, there is so many more!

Let truth and freedom REIGN! YES!
