Seeking advice, asking questions, significant digestive issues
I'm seeking advice on how I can use my Rife machine.
I'm new here so forgive any ignorances I might have.
I'll try to give a short synopsis. For the past 5 1/2 years I have suffered with chronic fatigue type symptoms (a long list). It seems that a break down in digestion is a significant component cause - or at least significant in preventing recovery.
I'm currently working with a nutritionist to help turn things around.
One of the significant problems I deal with is delayed gastric emptying (food takes forever to leave my stomach). This seems to be due to two things: weak digestion and 'allergic sensitivities/intolerances'.
My production of digestive enzymes and HCL is extremely poor. It seems that my body won't allow foods out of the stomach until they've been completely broken down. It's like my pyloric valve just clinches up.
I'm also 'sensitive' to most foods (leading to a limited rotational diet). These 'bad' foods also take forever to leave my stomach and can lead to nausea/vomiting/feeling like crap.
The other significant symptom is a condition my gastroenterologist calls neuro-visceral hypersensitivity (or just visceral hypersensitivity). It means that my neurological system is hypersensitive to what's going on in my gut. This unfortunately means that I can always tell when I have even a small amount of food in my stomach (usually not a pleasant sensation) and I am physically incapable of falling asleep if I do (or if there's any special irritation/inflammation). This has seriously messed up my sleep schedule too.
The one medication the gastroenterologist used to try and treat that made me horribly sick. He told me the other known effective treatment is marijuana which not only is it not available in this state, but I do not live in a place where it's smell would be tolerated.
The only relief I've previously found is using moxibustion - a TCM treatment in which Moxa (mugwort) is burned over specific acupuncture points. Unfortunately it also smells *exactly* like marijuana. (note: It's too cold to use this outside right now.)
So, all that to say that I'm looking for any advice on how to help remedy these issues as they are very unpleasant, but also a hurdle in my healing.
Do you know of any frequencies (or herbs/supplements) that may help with symptoms I've described?
I also welcome any general advice or tips on using the rife. Is there anywhere that I should begin? Are there resources I should be aware of? I know of the CAFL and NCFL.
Thank you for any input!
