Fluke ?

I need help telling if this is a fluke. It is similar to a slug. It is brownish orange. It is rounded on one side and flat on the other. It is about the size of a US Nickel. If it were food, the only thing I could possibly think of would be a slice off the top of a mushroom, where one side is rounded and the other side is flat. However, it would have to be swallowed completely unchewed and exit the body intact. I chew my food and my wife says it is not one of her mushrooms. Can anyone confirm if this is what a fluke looks like?
