What you are describing does have earmarks of Morgellons. To date no one has been able to positively identify a pathogen.
I have Morgellons. I do have fibers but they are not a common find and are only visible under a microscope. Have you been able to examine any of your lesions, scales, granules, and etc with a microscope? It could prove interesting.
I do not think that strongyloides is the cause of Morgellons (Keeping in mind that strongyloides can cause skin lesions).
Based on my studies: I have formed the hypothesis: The primary cause is a worm (not a cestode, nematode, or trematode) and its own specific parasitic fungi. I am currently trying to prove or disprove it.
