Is the Icy Hot Balm Extra Strength the only thing that will actually kill the worms that come out or do the other products kill them as well? The irritation isn't bad from the eggs but the females crawling on my privates is most upsetting!

The pin worms are in my vagina also and don't know about putting it on there! This happened when I used petroleum jelly with lavender oil. It didn't seem to stop them coming out my anus but did seem to direct them into my vagina.

There is so much conflicting information. Every site has it's own ideas. Is there anywhere that I can get facts that I can trust?

Such as....

How long are the eggs viable? Some sites say as little as 2 days while others say up to 8 weeks. I have company coming to stay with me and this is a gift I would rather not spread around! A gift that keeps on giving!! Ugh!

I heard that my saliva is infected?? Ewww. What is that from? Surely I don't have eggs in my mouth!

Wikipedia gives conflicting info. It says that the worms come out to lay eggs, then they die, but then says that they can invade the vagina...huh?

It also says.....
