Such a study is interesting, but it really does not tell us much of anything.  Does it really explain the basis for the effect?  No.  Did it cure the cancer?  Does not sound like it since it stated a three year increased survival rate.  So apparently it only slowed the cancer.  So what did the study really prove? Nothing that I can think of.  Although I can give you a possible explanation for the results.  Breast cancer can be accelerated by estrogens and estrogens can be broken down through oxidation.  So maybe the increased oxygen levels are oxidizing a portion of the estrogens in the system slowing down the cancer growth.  Will this help with all cancers?  Not likely since it does not address the cause of the cancer, which is usually a virus, and not all cancers are promoted by estrogen.
