I think Newport leaves his off and throws it his bed while he sleeps. I have also noticed that it tends to have the same effect, perhaps not as strong long after battery has died. I'll turn it off from time to time, fall asleep without turning it on and still have wild dreams.

Note - prior to the T3 I thought I could no longer dream, or not with any clarity or memory of dreaming. The dreams alone make it worth every penny.

Who needs Netflix when you can create your own sci-fi.
