True - but the Budwig diet works by actually fusing the two together with a blender. The idea that the flax seed oil has to be bound with a sulfur carrier. On top of that you add additional ground flax seeds.
I don't know whether cottage cheese is the better sulfer carrier or yogurt - though except for here I've always heard that you should try yogurt second if you can't tolerate cottage cheese. So with that I always inferred that cottage cheese was more effective but don't know that for sure. I certainly prefer the taste of yogurt as probably most people - but stick with cottage cheese because it's more widely recommended.
