The drug companies are using the economic situations now too, to give free drugs to people that can't afford it. Like me with the Paxil- not only do they make sure people can get it, but it's not so easy to quit the darned stuff once they get them on them too.
I had tried quitting it several times, and ended up going back on it. I made up my mind when I had the gallbladder surgery, that if I was going to already be recovering from surgery anyhow, that I would quit the Paxil cold turkey too. That was the end of it for me.
Now I can piece together stuff my poor liver was dealing with, and things that led up to the surgery to begin with. It could tick a person off to "get" what you've meant all along about what's already been done to us.
Now they have lawyer commercials on tv, about "if you took paxil when you were pregnant, and your child was born with birth defects"..thank goodness it was well after my children were born.
