I am rather experienced in EFT and I can promise you, it works and IS working on you. You just need to make a few adjustments. There are many, many different formats for EFT and ways of using it. You seem to be trying one (tapping your way down to zero for any given situation or issue) that isn't working for you. I had this problem too, that type of format doesn't work for every situation. This is such a broad therapy with so many possible applications. It took me awhile of watching youtube videos of examples and what not to realize people used it in different ways.
So what I recommend is stop trying to focus on one issue at a time, getting them down to zero, because it wont work like that. Issues are interconnected. You already know that your major issues are with rejection and abandonment. Those are not something you are going to work through overnight, so accept that, before doing anything else. Accept that its hard, and that its going to hurt like hell, and know whether or not you are willing to do it anyway.
Before you go any further I suggest you stop and do some tapping like this:
"Even though I am overwhelmed as hell right now, this is all too freaking much for me, I'm pissed off, I'm hurt, I don't want to do this crap, it's not fair, and it's probably not going to work, even though I feel ALL that, I still deeply and truly accept myself and where I am at right now, and I forgive myself for not being able to go further at this time"
^Do a few rounds of tapping on a set up like that and I guarantee you will feel better. I have to do this set up almost every session because it also frustrates me, the way issues lead to more issues and its overwhelming and feels like it will never end. I understand just how you feel.
If you like we could work with each other. I am thinking about trying to become a practitioner one day. I have instant messenger and wouldn't mind chatting if you like. I really hope all that helps you and you dont give up.
