I've been reading what you guys have been up to when I've had the chance, but I've been busy with my daughter being here.  I had noticed a while back, that you hadn't been posting much- it is always a concern when someone "disappears" :)  I had hoped you hadn't wiped yourself out too badly with more experimenting (ex: niacin, and iodine increase)

If you do a search for "Triphala leaky gut", there's alot of interesting stuff on the internet.  I had no idea what all it is benefical for.Amla is one of the 3 ingredients of triphala I think the 3 ingredients working together makes it more beneficial than taking Amla alone, but that's my thought. I've found that the Planetary Herbals products are good ones, and I've been using their Triphala (thanks to Newport pointing me to it), and I think the Planetary Herbals "Wormwood" blend, (Artemisia Annua), is a good one.  It also has Triphala in it too.

I was just reading this too for leaky gut, and gut problems caused by parasites, (while searching for Triphala- it's just above this. I'm pretty sure the pepper is what is also needed with turmeric, for it to be better utilized too:

Trikatu - Maricha - Piper nigrum, Pippali - Piper longum,Shunti - Zingiber officinalis.
