Re: success w/ iodine for hyperthyroidism

Just a quick update. I have discontinued Lugols because of inconsistency on my part. I just couldnt do it. For nearly a week I've been below the 100 mg it seems to control my hyperthyroid and I'm not even sure by how much. As of 2 days ago I'm back on the Iodoral, 125 mg as a loading dose. I will skip this weeks test since the results will undoubtedly make my MD question what I'm doing. Instead I will test in another 2 weeks. In the meanwhile, I feel irritable, dizzy, brain fog and have been having occasional palpitations for the last few weeks thats I've been dabbling around w/ the Lugols. The one symptom I havent experienced much of is the level of fatigue and exhaustion I had when I was untreated. Hope this helps..... Tweet
