My old dog (and love of our lives) has had a year of fleas. He has never had a problem with them before and it makes me wonder if fleas might sense a vunerable dog (He is 16 and has several ailments) and this is why they love him so much all of the sudden. But, that's another subject for another time.

Last night I gave him a bath and he probably had 40 fleas on him. I towel dried him and he went right to sleep and didn't move until this morning when I woke him up to go outside.........and guess what.........I counted 20 more fleas.

So, now they are in my house and I am freaking. I have my light on the floor with a bowl of sudsy water...the light to attract the fleas after the lights go off tonight and the sudsy water to drown them. I have vacuumed, too.

Any other suggestions?
