Yes it could be true but not the fault of Raw food, But actually fault with "RAW gourmet food"
When they are trying to replicate cooked food, they narrow down their options. They end up consuming just a fraction of the raw foods that can be consumed.
End up with dangerous deficiencies.
The health benefits they get in the first years is more of not consuming junk, Than from consuming raw food.
Most of them do not consume greens and sprouts, but just go on eating eggplant parmesan(raw and vegan) where almost nutriontionless vegetable like eggplant is dehydrate for more than 12 hours.(you call that food)
