Theres a possibility the drive is used as a paging file space (tempory harddrive memory), or you have some hidden files in there.

Right click My Computer and go to properties, i think its under the advanced tab

and to view any hidden files, you need to head to folder options in the windows explorer which will enable you to turn them on

other than that i would formatt the drive as the previous person said by right clicking it and Format..
