Hi Gibby. Yes, sometimes we forget that some herbs are toxins. The worms have difficulty with them but sometimes toxic side-effects impact on us as well.
I have seen parasites that cause odd mucus production. I am not sure if it is because the parasites cause our cells to make it through signaling channels they promote, or if they produce it themselves. These are microscopic entities I am talking about.
I personally think it is a combination of proteins produced by the host and parasite that results in the culmination of these masses. I have seen some literature on certain microbes being able to produce human mucus. Shroom Tweet
