Uterine Tumors

My sister has a tumor in her uterus that has grown from golf sized to football sized. She is 54 and has not had any signs of peri-menopause or menopause. She has never had children. She has always been very active and athletic so that is a plus for her. [Wish I was!!!]

She is concerned because the docs said they cannot remove the tumors [there is also another small one which has appeared recently] without removing the uterus. She wants to kept her uterus because she's been reading that it helps support other organs, etc.

I am advising her to let them take the tumors and uterus out and leave the ovaries. At this point I don't think there is anything she can do to shrink these tumors. I am just beginning to intro her to natural/alternative health so simple easy to find recommendations would be best if possible. [If I showed her the stuff I take, she'd surely think I was nuts! ha]

She has also started having PMS migraines, heartburn and severe cramping. I recommended all the usual ... ginger, digestive enzymes, bitters, magnesium, omega oils, etc. Not sure how her diet is but I suspect it's not the best.

Can heartburn be hormonal related tho?

I would like some advice and input to pass on to her. We are both visiting our mom for the next few days before I head back to my Indiana home.

Thanks so much!

Marci
