food for the homeless

In my area, many of us who grow good or better food follow the gleaning principle of the Bible.

We make a point of sharing with those in need.

It is a matter of good stewardship to give our excess where it will most benefit.

However, I for one do NOT give away good produce to anyone unwilling to make major lifestyle changes and benefit from it. I would not be willing to sell to such ones for ANY price, either.

It would just be a waste of great food!!!
