Carnivorous animals don't eat meat only, though, when they are in the wild, or when they (cats) are eating mice, etc. Because they get some predigested grains & seeds from their food's stomach. Therefore, I believe it is in order to allow them a small amount of easy-to-digest vegetable matter in their basically-meat diet. Tweet
