Interesting. You can read from that history book (holy bible) a lot of reference to the fig and olive tree, too. The Egyptians put frankinsence resin on the top of their heads and let it melt in the heat of the day. Myrrh was used on the umbilical cords of newborns to ward off disease. In ancient times, frankinsence was the holy annointing oil and that and myrrh were considered gold. They are beautiful, healing oils. Many other oils are mentioned like cedar and fir. The ancents knew about natural healing. So what are we doing ever embracing the medical paradigm and using drugs except in an emergency situation? (then clean them out of the body, after we get out of that emergency). There's plenty of reference to worms, too. I don't now what that book is you're referring to, but I'll go to the website!
