Re: Herbs Are Not Effective and Quite Dangerous
You're entitled to your opinion, but in my own personal experience, I have found the opposite to be true.
I have had many side effects to past medications, as well as the Depo Provera birth control shot, and the birth control pill (Jasmine)
I have also had side effects from flu vaccines and metal
Amalgam fillings., and side effects from cough syrups as well.
Symptoms from a
parasite infection I or my doctor didnt know I had-led me to detoxing all chemical products from my lifestyle-- and replacing them with less chemically manipulated products.
I won't even take over the counter asperin any longer, because I take white willow bark which I found to be just as effective - and the real thing-- not the chemical substitute in asperin these days.
I supplement with whole food supplements and herbs where needed. Oil of Evening Primrose has greatly put an end to mood swings I had during PMS-- if I take it at least one week prior to my periods. Butchers Broom has really made a difference in my leg cramps as well.
Nothing is a magic bullet by itself, but when used wisely , they support the immune system and body-- and also help detox the liver from things like Tylenol, etc.
Kelp even supports the body when one is required to have radiation treatment for cancer. Yes, some herbs are dangerous- just as some FDA approved over the counter medications are also.
Herbs must be taken under the direction of an herbalist and not along with alopathic drugs.
Many of our alopathic drugs started out as combinations of honest herbs, but have become so corrupted by the pharmacuetical companies, that they are blackened shadows of the original properties they were derived from.
Only until mankind prays for divine direction before they create their next pharmacuetical money making drug, will I take the alopathic route. Until then, I will go the holistic herbal route- using wisdom and professional guidance on what to take or not.
I have no complaints any longer. No more leg cramps
