Progress update
Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing great on your programs. I thought I would pop on and let you know what difference I've noticed. I always love to read other people's experiences to give me hope for my own. One of the issues I am treating for are hormonal imbalances. I know I am hypothyroid and have PCOS, but David says I have pituitary issues causing my thyroid and probably PCOS issues. Two of the main issues that have been affected from are an inability to lose weight and infertiliy. With the weight, sometimes I would lose the first week and then it would just shut down. The last time I tried to lose weight before now, maybe a couple of months back, I didn't lose anything, not one pound! I am happy to report that in the last 2 or so weeks, I have lost 14.5
lbs. I couldn't be more thrilled. I have a lot more I need to lose, but at least it's a start. And I'm hoping it will just keep going. I can't remark on the infertiliy issue yet, as my husband has been deployed, but comes home soon! I am hoping to get off as much weight as possibe before I conceive, if I am finally able. At 42, I don't have the luxury of doing a long and leisurely diet.
As far as die-off goes, still having plenty of it, in ways I have never experienced before. I have had bad heel pain for about a year or more now. Docs can't tell me why, not diabetic, I do have a small bone spur in one heel, but the podiatrist said it shouldn't be causing this much pain anda in both heels no less. A chiropractor I saw recently said he thinks it could be back related. The podiatrist said the same thing. David does have me on back and neck and fibromyalgia remedies. I am on my third bottle of them. Ironically, since starting the remedies, I have had a lot of calf and behind the knee pain (this was one of my primary issues when I first got sick and still is), back spasms, increased heel pain and my back went out last week from lifting something I guess I shouldn't have been. It's interesting because the pain will come and go in waves, especially in the calves so I think something is definitely going on. I am also on a remedy for hair loss due to the thyroid problem (the hair loss I have also comes in cycles). I was on a cycle where there was no loss and now since taking the remedy it has started to fall out again, not a lot, just some. I have a friend who is in the "healing" biz and she says that all the stuff I am desribing sounds like retracing episodes. Retracing is like die-off or detox symptoms, but going back over them usually in the order in which they came on, most recent first. As a reminder, I am on an excelerated protocol because of my age and wanting to get pregnant, so in all fairness, David said I could get die-off. But I am just trying to grin and bear it and know that in the long run, it's all for the good and hopefully a sign that I am getting better.
Oh I also have acid reflux. It doesn't burn my throat, just causes me to have to clear my throat constantly. About 3 or so minutes after taking the reflux remedy, I have to start clearing my throat. I have even done this without knowing I had taken it (I keep the bottle label turned away as a test). I just find this very intersting to see how quickly my body reacts from taking a remedy.
